Abstract


ABSTRACT

 

Jebres District is one of the government agencies authorized to manage and serve population data in Surakarta City. In a government agency, especially in the Jebres sub-district, there is a guest book to be filled so that the officers can find out who the guests are. During the Covid-19 pandemic, crowds lining up to get services at government agencies is one of the problems that must be resolved. There is a need for a system that utilizes information technology to reduce crowds, is more efficient in its operation, and is easily accessible to the public. Based on the description of the background, it can be formulated the problem to be solved in this research is how to design and build a web-based guest data collection system application that can be used to make it easier for officers to collect data. This application development uses a programming language, namely PHP and MYSQL database.
