The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS) seeks to improve services in the cleaning sector, with the aim that students feel comfortable while on campus. Improving cleaning services can be done by applying the assessment and measurement of the performance of the cleaning staff. Performance appraisal is carried out based on performance reports collected by the cleaning staff. In compiling reports on the performance of the cleaning staff, they still use the manual method. The manual method used is to record all work activities into a book, then recap the notes to the Microsoft Excel application. The current method is considered less effective and efficient because it takes a relatively long time to compile a report. The cleaning staff is sometimes late in submitting performance reports, so the assessment cannot be done on time. Based on these problems, a website-based employee performance reporting system is designed, so that it can help provide convenience and support cleaning staff in improving their performance. The method used to design information systems is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. The employee performance reporting system is made using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. With this system, the cleaning staff is more efficient and effective in presenting performance reports so that they can be assessed on time.
